In the readings for this week, I found that chapter 5 in the text edition was luxuriant of basic computer information that I had already known, such as, the basic components of a computer. I comprehend why this section is in this book; however, I did non arise it particularly useful. I did think that the section discussing the integrating of computers in to the classroom was important. I know as though to the highest degree state, including instructors, do not understand that there unavoidably to be an advantage to bringing engineering science into the classroom. I feel deal most teachers view technology as a direction to make their job easier only if being subject to stool lessons that can be easily saved and reused from social class to year. I also feel as though technology makes it easier for teachers to follow up video and audio into their instruction; however, I question the motives for use video and audio when these materials sire been do easy to acquire. To inform further, I feel as though instructors could potentially overuse technology in the place of teaching. The former(a) observation that I have regarding this chapter and it appears as though it go away be something that I will be constantly feeler back to because it seems as though there is something in any chapter regarding copy unspoiled. I in person have a real difficulty with the copy right laws when it comes to education. I only understand that need to control center and intellectual property, but I have a problem with content that is expressly controlled to make a profit with the think use of the materials ar for profit or not. My personal bitterness is that if the materials are acquirable at the library or have been registered through the program library of Congress then all people have the rights to these materials for educational purposes. When we begin to limit a persons capability to use, view, and access materials by their wealth I feel as though that is a problem.
